The Christmas Store

The Christmas Store is our biggest service project of the year. It is an event where St. Charles families experiencing financial hardship are invited to come and purchase new gifts for their children for Christmas for about 10% or less of the retail value. Families are referred to Serve St. Charles through the school district. This event allows for families to feel dignified in taking ownership of choosing the gifts for their children without putting themselves in a financial bind. Through our donors and volunteers, we are able to serve around 350 kids per year!

Neighbor Helping Neighbor

Neighbor Helping Neighbor is a service coalition which is making a positive impact in neighborhoods throughout St. Charles County by partnering with local governments, aid agencies, churches, and school districts to assess the needs of under-resourced people and then actively engaging them in care to transform their lives. Some things they have done in the past are provide oil changes, and supply food for low income families. In April 2020, 3 car loads of food were collected and $2,000 was raised to purchase more!

Serve North county food pantry

Serve St. Charles partnered with Serve North County to assist with their food pantry services. From donations to service days, we are looking forward to a growing partnership with Serve North County.
