Julie Novak

Julie has been part of the Serve family for more than 17 years! Julie is married to her hockey-loving husband, Matt, and they have 2 beautiful and successful daughters, Ali and Brooke! (AKA: Mini-Prez and Mini, Mini-Prez). Julie serves as the President of Serve St. Charles, and is our eternal optimist, “YES, (wo)man” and cheerful, smiley lover of all things SERVE!

Leeann Holke

Leeann has been part of the Serve family for more than 10 years! LeeAnn is married to her husband, soccer coach-extraordinaire Brian, and they have 2 sweet, soccer-obsessed sons, Finn and Brady! (AKA: Leaders of the Santa Hat pack during Christmas in July!) Leeann serves as the Vice President of Serve St. Charles, and is our official “I know EVERYONE” in St. Charles, keep us fed, laser-focused on the goal gangsta!

Kindra York Welby

Kindra has been part of the Serve family for more than 17 years. Kindra is married to Chris, a detective with the St. Charles City Police Department, and they have blended 4 beautiful and fierce daughters, Megan, Emily, Abby and Ruby (AKA: the folder, stuffer, sticker, licker and stamper of ALL Christmas Store mailings!). Kindra serves as the secretary of Serve St. Charles, and is the puppet master of the spreadsheet, to-do list, Google docs, and the official kicking and screaming, feet-dragger of change!

RYAN Hertich

Ryan has been part of the Serve family since 2024. Ryan is married to his beautiful bride Maggie, and they have one adorable daughter, Autumn (AKA: the Serve baby mascot). Ryan serves as the treasurer of Serve St. Charles, reigns as the official “COLD BEER HERE!” proclaimer and manages to calmly tolerate and wrangle the BIG IDEAS (and the occasional CRAZY) of the 3 ladies on our team!

We’re just “us”. Volunteers. 3 moms and a dad. Teacher, community volunteer and small business owner, pediatric nurse and accountant. Passionate about our community, our mission, and serving others. #1 fan club to one another. Recipients of the most SUPPORTIVE and selfless families in the history of ever. Lovers of our amazing friends and community partners.

At the end of the day, we are the mere face of an army of selfless volunteers who make our dreams a reality and we couldn’t be more thankful! Our community’s need, God’s work, our hands and feet- “Jesus loves the Christmas Store.”
